Jared and I have taken to making our own flour tortillas. We find a huge satisfaction in making things from scratch especially when they taste better than store bought tortillas. I don't know how I lived in China for so many years and didn't make more things from scratch. The recipe is simple but you should plan for it to take 1 hour total from beginning to end. Letting them sit is key. We found out the hard way that it makes all the difference. I'm sure you can substitute 1 cup of whole wheat flour for one cup of all-purpose flour too.
