I am fascinated with nurseries right now. We live in a small 1920's downtown apartment. I love it but a nursery is out of the question. I'm always looking for inspiration to at least decorate a corner of the apartment for Annalise. The easiest trend seems to be wall art and picture frames with a few animal pieces around. Can you tell what colors I'm leaning towards?

Lovely! I lost sleep over what to do with the nursery before Liam was born. I find that I like so many things (I have a very eclectic taste) that I couldn't just pick a color/theme. I finally decided to start with a children't book I liked (Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle') and branched off from there. I was never into the prepackaged baby room kits from department stores. I went very modern. Gray walls, white modern chair, birch wood curtain design, white crib, a few bright colored Chinese lanterns above the crib with dimming lights. I have been meaning to post pictures of the final design.
It looks like most of your pictures are modern rooms with a personal touch. Have you been to IKEA? They are known for utilizing small spaces. When I was there last, they had a nursery section of a room in a 600 sq ft. apartment. Really cute!
